Vivo Energy Ghana operators of Shell Petroleum in partnership with Starbites Restaurant opened their Asokwa branch on the Atonsu Agogo road yesterday in a memorable occasion.
The ceremony started with personnel from Starbites giving security and a safety tips should any misfortune occur whilst the program was going on.
Representatives from the Metro Fire, the EPA and Divisional Police command, Ghana Standard Authority and the Food and Drugs Authority were also there to provide security and their endorsement.
Mr. Ben Hassan Ouattara in his opening address acknowledged the presence of the dignitaries and showed gratitude to the audience gathered. He disclosed that since Vivo Energy believes in bringing their service to customers hence partnering with Starbites who also loves to serve with satisfaction. “We currently run 6 joints and we are hoping to extend our services to all of our other branches. Amakom Service stations, Kentikrono, the KMA Shell in Adum are among the branches we’ve opened so far.” Mr Ouattara revealed.
The Special Guest, Mr. Osei Asibey was full of praise for their partnership and appealed to them to also come and open another branch around the Manhyia Palace for the great King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
“We all acknowledge that the Asokwa Municipality is gradually becoming an industrial area but I am appealing to you (Vivo Energy/Starbites) to consider opening one near the Manhyia Palace for Otumfuo.” The KMA Boss said.
The Chief of Asokwa, Nana Fe-Baamoah who also represented the Asantehene first brought greetings from the Manhyia Palace and thanked Vivo Energy and Starbites for not only beautifying his township but also giving employment to the youth in and outside Asokwa.
Nana Fe-Baamoah his speech stressed more on the staffs to do everything in their strides to keep both companies survive through their customer service and accountability.
Mr. Boa Koffi, the Consumer Retail Manager took the guest to tour the place after the sod-cutting done by the Asokwa Chief, MD for Vivo Energy Ghana and MD for Satrbites.
The Asokwa Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Akwanuassah Gyimah and Mr. Eric Andoh, MD for Starbites Restaurent among others gathered in such memorable but brief ceremony.
